Job summary

Mewah Group is seeking an Engineer, Project & Maintenance based in Pulau Indah, Selangor, to support maintenance activities, engineering projects, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across operations.

You will manage maintenance programs, execute projects, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with standards. Collaboration across cross-functional teams and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing, refinery, or industrial environment.
  • Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, piping systems, fittings and heat exchangers.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and preparation of technical drawings.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems such as CMMS, SAP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute engineering projects, including Mechanical and Civil & Structural (C&S) works.

  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide technical support to fabrication and maintenance teams.
  • Monitor project risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, engineering standards, and company policies.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure all maintenance and project works meet required specifications and standards.

Pulau Indah, Selangor | Palm Oil Industry (Biodiesel)

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Engineer, Project & Maintenance to support maintenance activities, engineering projects, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives across our operations. This role involves managing maintenance programs, executing projects, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute engineering projects, including Mechanical and Civil & Structural (C&S) works.

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Lead maintenance activities for industrial equipment, including rotating equipment, piping systems, fittings, and heat exchangers.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing, refinery, or industrial environment.

Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, piping systems, fittings, and heat exchangers.

Proven experience in project execution, modification, and improvement projects.

Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and preparation of technical drawings.

Experience using maintenance management systems such as CMMS, SAP, or equivalent.

Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Able to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment and collaborate with cross‑functional departments.

High awareness of industrial safety practices and safe working procedures.

Willing to learn, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.

Additional Responsibilities

Participate in internal and external audit activities as an Auditor or Auditee.

Support and contribute to company committees and initiatives, including CSR, Halal, and Housekeeping Committees.

Assist in maintaining compliance with management systems and certification requirements, including:
