Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Executive/Engineer, Procurement to join the Mewah Group team at our Port Klang, Selangor facility on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are passionate about procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in sourcing materials, vendor coordination, purchasing activities, and supply chain processes while working closely with experienced professionals across various departments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in sourcing materials, products, and services to support manufacturing and logistics operations.
• Support supplier evaluation and selection processes based on quality, cost, delivery performance, and reliability.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and follow up on order status and deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Support procurement data analysis and prepare reports for purchasing and cost management activities.
• Assist in resolving delivery issues, supply shortages, and supplier-related concerns.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Build positive working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand purchasing requirements and business needs.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internship experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other procurement systems) is an advantage but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.
