Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking an Engineer Maintenance to join our Manufacturing and Operations team. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of equipment, implement corrective and preventive actions, and drive improvements in OEE, speed, cost and yield.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Electronic/Electrical Engineering with 3–5+ years of relevant experience, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and soldering/rework abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of relevant working experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge about functionality of components and testing methods.
• Soldering and rework skills required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on troubleshoot and repair equipment failures, implement corrective action & preventive actions.
• Recommend solutions to moderate problems with information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs via initiating & executing projects to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Meet / Exceed KPIs (Availability, Reliability, Cost & Yield) for assigned equipment ownership.
• Read schematics, sketching, design, and modification.
• Prepare reports and presentations.
