Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Technician Maintenance to support complex Pre-Assembly equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will troubleshoot, maintain and continuously improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Pre-Assembly equipment, identify root causes and implement corrective actions to hit downtime KPIs.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain PM records using e-checklist and SAP.
• Support Continuous Improvement and maintenance projects to enhance OEE, speed, cost and quality.
• Assist with new tool installation and commissioning, including setup support and handover readiness.
• Maintain Safety, 5S and Cleanroom compliance to promote a safe, disciplined work environment.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Troubleshoot and repair Pre-Assembly equipment issues, identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions to achieve equipment downtime KPI targets
• Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities and ensure all PM records are accurately completed and updated (e-checklist and SAP)
• Support continuous improvement and maintenance projects aimed at improving Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), including speed, cost and quality performance
• Assist with new tool/equipment installation and commissioning as required, including setup support and handover readiness
• Maintain full compliance with Safety, 5S & Cleanroom protocols and promote a safe and disciplined work environment

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong troubleshooting mindset: Proactive, innovative and able to perform structured problem solving/root cause analysis
• Good time management, self-disciplined, and able to prioritize tasks to meet maintenance schedules and KPI targets
• Team player with a high sense of responsibility and ownership, willing to support team assignments and projects
• Good communication and interpersonal skills: Able to coordinate effectively with operators, engineers, and other stakeholders
