Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking an Engineer Maintenance to ensure reliable operation of our manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and implement corrective and preventive actions to maximize uptime and support OEE targets.

• Bachelor degree in Mechatronics or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on troubleshoot and repair equipment failures, implement corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Recommend solutions to moderate problems with information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) in terms of speed, cost and quality.
• Meet or exceed KPIs for equipment availability, reliability, cost and yield.
• Read electrical schematics, sketching, design and modification if needed.
• Prepare reports and presentations.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Hands-on troubleshoot and repair equipment failures, implement corrective action & preventive actions.
• Recommend solutions to moderate problems with information.
• Contribution to continuous improvement programs via initiating & executing projects to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency, OEE in term of Speed, Cost & Quality.
• Meet / Exceed KPIs (Availability, Reliability, Cost & Yield) for assigned EQUIP ownership.
• Schematic diagram reading, sketching, design, and modification.
• Reports and presentations.

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Willing to work in Kulim.
• Bachelor Degree in Mechatronics or Electronic / Electrical Engineering.
• 3:5 years and above of relevant working experience
• Strong knowledge, skills and experience in electrical troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge about the functionality of components and testing method.
• Possess good soldering rework skills.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate and translate knowledge with technical and complex information.
• Must be able to understand priorities of work in progress.
