Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia (Johor Bahru) is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the end-to-end recruitment process. You will partner with Hiring Managers to define manpower needs, source candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers and onboarding to ensure timely hires.

The role requires 4–5 years of recruitment experience, familiarity with work pass administration, data protection, and HR policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or HR.
• Experience in end-to-end recruitment and candidate sourcing is essential.
• Experience in work pass administration will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with applicable employment legislation, data protection requirements and the RBA Code of Conduct will be an advantage.
• Strong recruitment and candidate sourcing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the staff recruitment and selection process in accordance with the Company's hiring procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and the RBA Code of Conduct.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and requirements, including the role's specific skills, qualifications, responsibilities and team dynamics.
• Source potential candidates through various channels, including job advertisement portals, LinkedIn, employee referral programmes, social media, professional networks and recruitment databases.
• Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screenings, coordinate interviews and assess candidates' skills, experience and suitability for the role.
• Conduct interviews together with Hiring Managers and/or interviewers to achieve alignment, share perspectives and provide a consistent and efficient candidate experience.
• Ensure both the technical competencies and behavioural/cultural suitability of candidates are thoroughly evaluated.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, job offers, preparation of employment contracts and other HR-related documents, and coordination of new hire onboarding.
• Conduct candidate data verification and maintain accurate and complete recruitment records.
• Ensure candidate information and recruitment processes are managed in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy requirements.
• Support initiatives to strengthen the Company's employer branding and talent attraction efforts.
• Establish and maintain relationships with universities, professional institutions and industry platforms through career events, partnerships, networking activities and other appropriate channels.
• Support the development of a sustainable talent pipeline, particularly for Graduate Engineering Trainee positions and other critical or recurring roles.
• Participate in career fairs, campus recruitment activities and other talent acquisition initiatives as required.
