Linergy Power in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in machining and equipment maintenance to support new production line setups, perform equipment maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical and programming issues for improved stability.
You will drive continuous improvement, develop workstation logic standards, manage PLC programs, and coordinate documentation for new equipment while delivering training and SOPs to your team.

Electrical Engineer – Machining & Equipment Maintenance
As an Electrical Engineer in Machining and Equipment Maintenance, you will be responsible for supporting new production line setup, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring stable production, minimizing downtime, and improving equipment efficiency.
Support new production line setup, including equipment installation, commissioning, evaluation, acceptance, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Troubleshoot and improve electrical and programming issues related to production equipment to enhance equipment stability and reliability.
Develop action logic standards for critical workstations to prevent product quality issues caused by programming.
Upgrade and optimize electrical and PLC programs according to production and equipment requirements.
Develop and maintain PLC/program version control plans.
Coordinate the review, handover, and acceptance of electrical-related programs, documents, and drawings for new equipment.
Prepare troubleshooting training materials and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and conduct electrical-related training for relevant personnel.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above.
Professional Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronic Information Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related field.
PLC & Programming: Proficient in PLC applications and at least one PLC programming platform, such as Omron (NJ/NX), Mitsubishi, Siemens, Beckhoff, Keyence, or Panasonic.
Electrical & Control Systems: Familiar with the control principles and applications of servo motors, stepper motors, drivers, sensors, and other electrical components, with the ability to select and apply them appropriately.
Software Skills: Proficient in EPLAN, AutoCAD, or other relevant engineering software.
Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation control, and mathematical/statistical methods.
