Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Engineer to oversee installation, commissioning, operation and management of large automated equipment at our Penang facility. You will lead maintenance of production machinery, manage shift operations, parts inventory, and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems, while performing CAD drafting, PLC programming and servo adjustments.

The role emphasizes developing efficient maintenance programs and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering
• More than 5 years of working experience in factory equipment maintenance and management
• Excellent understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and servo motor control
• Good understanding of reading and creating mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams (CAD)

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, operation, and management of large automated equipment

• Develop an efficient and cost-effective maintenance program for manufacturing equipment
• Initiate continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment productivity and reduce maintenance costs
