Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will modify and enhance equipment, oversee maintenance, and implement preventative programs to ensure safety and efficiency across processes.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and at least 3 years of equipment design and maintenance experience, with strong CAD skills and problem-solving abilities.

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Engineer to join our team. Candidate must have a strong understanding of equipment modification and maintenance in a manufacturing environment, as well as troubleshooting issues related to equipment, and making sure all equipment is up to date and complies with safety regulations.
Modify and enhance new equipment for various manufacturing processes.
Maintain and repair existing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all equipment
Ensure equipment meets all safety standards and complies with regulation.
Determine root cause of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment problems and develop solutions.
Create and maintain equipment performance matrix and track progress over time.
Design, develop, test, and maintain equipment machinery to ensure its efficient operation.
Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased efficiency.
Develop and maintain documentation related to equipment design, installation, operation and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Stay up to date with new technologies and equipment advancements to continuously improve the organization's equipment and machinery.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related engineering field.
Minimum 3 years working experience in equipment design and maintenance with focus on manufacturing process.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical/electrical issues.
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools for equipment design is an advantage.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritized task meet strict deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
Strong decision-making, can work independently, or within a team environment, and have a good problem solving skills
Understanding and awareness of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and RBA Compliances.
