Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional to lead the maintenance team in daily and preventive tasks. You will develop ISO-compliant documents and coordinate with production, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth plant operations.

The role involves root-cause analysis, executing improvement projects, and overseeing new fabrication and energy-saving initiatives. A background in factory electrical troubleshooting is required.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of factory electrical trouble shooting experience.
• Development and maintenance of maintenance documents per ISO standards (SOP, WI, maintenance schedule).
• Lead and coordinate maintenance teams across machine/facility breakdowns and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the maintenance team on machine/facility breakdowns and inspections.
• Develop and maintain ISO-compliant maintenance documents (SOP, WI, maintenance schedule).
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement solutions.
• Work with production to execute improvement projects and coordinate with vendors.
• Oversee new fabrication projects, continuous improvement, and plant setups.
• Enforce housekeeping and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct daily checks and supervise preventive maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, contractors, or government bodies.
• Plan projects, supervise execution, and update Gantt charts to meet deadlines.
• Generate new ideas for equipment, automation, and energy-saving initiatives.
• Require 3+ years of factory electrical troubleshooting experience.

• Coordinate and lead the maintenance team on all machine / facilities breakdowns and maintenance inspections involving critical machine parameters and critical spare parts management.
• Development and maintenance of maintenance documents as per ISO standards. i.e; SOP, WI, Maintenance schedule, etc.
• Perform root cause analysis activities for production issues and develop solutions.
• Work with production team to execute improvement projects, and coordinating with vendors
• To oversee new fabrication projects, continues improvement project and plant new set-up for the company.
• Continuously observe and enforces good housekeeping practices according to company housekeeping policies.
• Conduct daily routine checks and ensure maintenance team carry out daily and preventive maintenance duties
• To liaise with external electrical vendor, supplier, contractor or government related department.
• Project planning, execution, supervision, and Gantt chart updated to ensure met the deadlines.
• Always come out new ideals continues improvement of equipment, automation and energy saving project.
• More than 3 year working experience in factory electrical trouble shooting.
