Job summary

Deloitte DRSC T&L (Singapore Payroll) is seeking a payroll professional to support daily, weekly and monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Singapore regulations. You will review reports, respond to client queries, and help maintain the payroll timeline and timely payslips.

The role requires 1–2 years SG payroll experience, strong English, good time management, attention to detail, and proficiency with payroll software and Excel.

• Prepare/review Singapore tax clearance (IR21) for foreign employees leaving Singapore.
• Assist with ad-hoc payroll compliance/advisory matters and provide information for auditors/tax agents.

Job description

DRSC T&L: Business Process Solutions (Singapore Payroll)

Provide support in relation to the daily, weekly and monthly payroll functions (e.g. payroll reports and to meet government-related payroll compliance obligations for Singapore).

Review of payroll reports prepared by team member to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations before sending to clients for approval each month.

Respond to client’s email queries and clarifications.

Send payroll queries for the month where clarifications are required.

Ensure team members are on track with the payroll timeline agreed with the client.

Ensure pay slips are released timely to employees.

Prepare and/or review Singapore tax clearance (Form IR21) in respect of foreign employees leaving Singapore.

Provide ad-hoc support in relation to all payroll compliance / advisory matters (from the client and local statutory authority perspective).

Assist clients with the preparation and review of annual employer’s return on employees’ remuneration (Form IR8E).

Assist in the provision of information and/or reports as requested by auditors and/or tax agents.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in SG payroll processing.

Proficient in written and spoken English.

Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Highly diligent, responsible, and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
