Join us as a Payroll Intern and get hands-on experience supporting Singapore payroll operations, working with real employee data and learning how payroll is processed accurately and confidentially in a professional environment. You will work closely with the Finance team and gain an understanding of the key information involved in monthly payroll processing, including attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, and deductions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
Perform accurate payroll data entry and maintain up-to-date employee payroll records.
Assist in verifying attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, and deductions.
Support payroll reconciliation and check payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare payroll reports, schedules and other supporting documents as required.
Assist with filing and maintaining confidential payroll and employee records.
Support the Finance team with administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects.
Handle payroll and employee information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
Able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 3 months.
Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with numbers and data.
Organised, responsible, and able to complete tasks accurately and independently.
Comfortable performing administrative tasks with consistency.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Curious and willing to learn about Singapore payroll and HR processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with spreadsheets.
