Job summary

Deloitte in Malaysia is seeking a Payroll Associate for DRSC T&L – Tax Business Process Solution - Payroll. You will process payroll transactions, manage changes, and generate reports, while maintaining records and assisting with client queries.

The role requires 1–2 years in payroll or similar operations, strong English, and proficiency with payroll software and Excel. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver accurate payroll services.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll transactions and update employee payroll information in the payroll system.
• Accurately record payroll changes such as new hires, salary revisions, one-time payments, allowances, deductions, and employee exits.
• Generate payroll reports and outputs for review and approval such as Salary register, Year-to-date, Variance, Payslips, Bank payment files, CPF submission files, Payroll GL files, and other client-specific docs.
• Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation (e.g., updating control logs).
• Assist to draft emails clarifying payroll inputs and respond to client payroll queries.
• Work closely with Senior Associates, Assistant Managers, and Managers to deliver quality payroll services.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
