Job summary

CHINA STATE CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage collection, registration, classification, distribution, tracking and archiving of project documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, any discipline; majors in Engineering Management, Architecture, Civil or M&E Engineering are preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of document management experience in construction, engineering or large projects.
• Familiar with project lifecycle management and document control systems such as Aconex, Procore and SharePoint.
• Ability to prepare, review and archive technical documents, contracts and construction records.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection, registration, classification, distribution, tracking and archiving of project documents.
• Establish and maintain project document control systems, ensuring accurate document versions, status and records.
• Coordinate document flow between engineering, construction, procurement, contracts and other project departments.
• Maintain document registers and databases to ensure project records are complete, accurate and traceable.
• Handle electronic and hard-copy filing and ensure documents can be retrieved efficiently.
• Assist project teams in preparing, organizing and reviewing technical documents, meeting minutes, emails and reports.
• Track document submission, review, approval and close-out status and follow up on overdue documents.
