Job summary

Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive lubricant sales and expand distributor networks in Sarawak. You will develop strategies with distributors, monitor performance, and coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Technical teams to ensure seamless execution.

The role requires 5+ years in sales or distributor management, a related Bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Admin, Economics or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, key account or distributor management.
Proven track record of achieving sales growth, revenue and profitability targets.
Strong experience in managing distributors, dealers, channel partners or reseller networks.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Based in Sarawak or willing to relocate, with ability to travel extensively within the territory.

Responsibilities

Drive lubricant sales volume, revenue and margin growth within the assigned territory.
Manage and develop distributor networks to meet business objectives and targets.
Collaborate with distributors to implement annual business plans and growth initiatives.
Identify new business opportunities and expand customer reach in key market sectors.
Monitor distributor performance, sales pipeline and profitability through reviews.
Coach distributor sales teams to improve sales effectiveness and outcomes.
Work with Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service and Technical teams for operations.
Support sales and marketing programs to boost brand visibility and engagement.
Gather market intel to support planning and strategic decisions.
Ensure continuity and efficiency across the distributor network.
