Job summary

Monee in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Individual Contributor for its loan collection and recovery team. You will handle outbound calls, negotiate repayments, and drive accounts to resolution while adhering to KPI targets and policies.

The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting background, 1–3 years of delinquent account management, and strong English and Mandarin skills to communicate with customers across diverse segments.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail and results orientation.
• Team player who can work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Make reminder/outbound calls to delinquent customers to initiate payment.
• Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with customers.
• Resolve customer issues and inquiries regarding accounts and charges within set timelines.
• Review accounts and pursue remedial actions including debt-recovery where appropriate.
• Ensure all collection actions comply with corporate guidelines and policies.
• Perform administrative duties and monitor payment arrangements and accounts.
