Job summary

Monee is seeking a results-driven Debt Collections Associate to join its loan recovery team in Kuala Lumpur. You will handle outbound calls to Singapore customers, negotiate repayment plans, and tailor strategies to settle overdue balances, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

You will monitor accounts, respond to inquiries, and strive to meet daily targets with strong English communication. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess minimum diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in collections or in a call center background is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage in debt-related conversations with customers via outbound calls and negotiate repayment strategies.
• Manage Singapore customers’ repayment obligations and motivate timely repayments through outbound calls.
• Proactively achieve or exceed targets while complying with collections methodologies, policies, and regulations.
• Serve as the focal point for customer inquiries relating to repayment on overdue accounts.
