Job description

The Data Solutions Architect I is responsible for supporting data analytics initiatives through development of reports, data queries, analytical solutions and business applications. This role contributes to projects involving data, reporting, and business applications (including CRM, AI and machine learning systems), works on well-defined problems and contributes to projects that support business decision-making across departments. This role is expected to work across data, reporting, automation, and business systems to deliver end-to-end solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

Perform data analysis and develop reports and dashboards using tools such as SQL, Excel,

Power BI, CRM, and AI-assisted tools to support business needs across departments

• Build, maintain, and prepare data (queries, tables, and data structures) to support reporting,

analytics, and business applications such as SQL, SSAS Tabular, Power BI and CRM

• Support the development and maintenance of analytics solutions, including reports, dashboards,

and underlying data structures and database objects, using established standards

• Assist in the implementation, support, and enhancement of business systems and processes,

including CRM platforms, reporting solutions, and related data workflows

• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and improved data

usage, including evaluation of new tools and technologies

• Support the development and maintenance of basic automation and AI-enabled solutions (e.g.,

Power Automate or similar tools) under guidance

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure accurate

and effective use of analytics, reporting, and business system solutions

• Provide user support and training on reports, tools, and business applications

• Communicate work effectively to team members, internal customers, and external partners as

needed

• Research data sources and contribute to improvements in reporting, analytics, and data quality

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, or related discipline

2–5 years related work experience

Foundational experience with SQL skills & Data analysis concepts

Exposure to one or more of the following i.e Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong problem solving, documentation, research/resolution, and data analysis skills

Familiarity with modern data tools, AI-assisted tools, or scripting languages is a plus
