Job summary

Values First Consulting Sdn Bhd seeks a technically competent software professional to define, develop, test, and support Industry 4.0 applications for semiconductor factories. The role involves data integration with manufacturing equipment, analytics, and intelligent monitoring and control.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with hands-on experience in C#, .NET, Python, SQL, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record with selected technologies and languages listed.
• Familiarity with AI tools for software design, development and debugging.
• 2–3 years of software development experience preferred; fresh graduates with credentials may apply.
• Good spoken and written English required.

Job description

Technically competent, self-driven individual(s) with a proven track record in the software field.

Independent contributor who is also a good team player.

Possessing either strong design skills and/or good trouble‑shooting acumen.

Responsibilities

Define, develop, test, and support Industry 4.0 software applications for the semiconductor factories.

I4.0 applications usually involve systems to integrate with manufacturing equipment in semiconductor factories to collect data, provide analytics, and enable intelligent monitoring and control.

Occasional travel to local and overseas customer sites to provide product support and for project implementation.

Requirements

Candidate must possess a good Bachelor's Degree in Engineering(Computer/Electronics/Telecommunication), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.

Proven track record with some of the following technologies/ programming languages: C#, .NET, Web Services, MS SQL Server, VB, Python, Web Programming, Dashboards, SECS/GEM, Machine Learning.

Familiar with the use of A.I. tools for software design, development, debugging, etc.

Preferably with at least 2-3 years of working experience in software development, although fresh graduates with good credentials are also encouraged to apply.

Able to work under min. supervision & independently. Good spoken and written English skills are necessary.
