In this role, you will develop and implement technical, automation, and robotics solutions that drive innovation and enhance manufacturing performance. You will work hands‑on with advanced manufacturing equipment, robotics systems, and process technologies while solving complex engineering challenges. Your contributions will support operational excellence, manufacturing efficiency, and Intel's leadership in semiconductor technology.

Key responsibilities

Own, monitor, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation systems to ensure safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and yield performance.

Design, develop, and support robotics, mechatronics, and automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and operational excellence.

Develop software applications, automation tools, and data analysis solutions using Python and C++.

Create and maintain mechanical designs, assemblies, fixtures, tooling, and engineering documentation using SolidWorks.

Analyze process, equipment, and production data to identify trends, solve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Conduct experiments, testing, and measurements to improve process capability, equipment performance, and manufacturing outcomes.

Support the integration, qualification, troubleshooting, and optimization of robotic systems, machine vision solutions, sensors, actuators, and automated equipment.

Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for process, equipment, and yield‑related issues.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Support new technology development, equipment installation, factory ramp activities, and deployment of best practices across manufacturing sites.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field; OR a Master's degree in a relevant field.

Basic knowledge of robotics, automation, mechatronics systems, sensors, actuators, and motion control.

Programming experience in Python and/or C++ through academic projects, internships, research, or industry experience.

Experience using SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assemblies, and engineering drawings.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data interpretation skills.

Experience in robotics, automation, machine vision, PLCs, motion control systems, or industrial automation projects.

Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, equipment engineering, or advanced manufacturing environments.

Experience with data analytics, statistical methods, DOE, SPC, and root cause analysis.

Familiarity with automation, process control systems, Industrial IoT, and manufacturing data systems.

Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and global teams.
