Amkor Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced software professional to design and develop ULT systems and eCIM functions. You will work on automation via eCIM Connector/Client, maintain RMS, iEMS, and ECS modules, and perform SQL database development.

Collaboration with users and colleagues for architectural reviews is essential. Required are 5–10 years in software development, a degree in IT/CS/Engineering, and skills in Java, C#, Python, SECS/GEM, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT/CS/Engineering, Cognitive Science or Data Science.
• 5–10 years in a software development environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ULT system and other eCIM functions across the software lifecycle.
• Develop or fan in functions in eCIM Connector and Client to enable automation.
• Maintain and enhance eCIM related applications and RMS/iEMS/ECS modules.
• Study information needs and propose solutions; perform SQL DB development.
• Architectural design, code review, and incident resolution with the team.

Job Requirements

Design and develop ULT system and other eCIM functions by following the software development lifecycles (planning, requirements, design, build, document, test, deploy and maintain).

Develop or fan in functions in eCIM Connector and Client (in-house automation software) to achieve automation purpose by referring to SECS/GEM manual as one of the input documents.

Maintain and enhance eCIM related applications.

Recipe Management System (RMS) development and operation support.

intelligent Equipment Monitoring System (iEMS) development and operation support.

Equipment Constant System (ECS) development and operation support.

Develops system by studying information needs, systems flow and conferring with users and propose the solution.

SQL Database development and management for automation activities.

Overall programming and debugging analyst.

Architecture design and code review with team members.

Ad-hoc customer request.

Attending and solving the Incident tickets raised by the user.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer/Software/Automation/Electronics Engineering, Cognitive Science, Data Science, or equivalent.

Experience

5 - 10 years in a software development environment is an advantage.
