Job summary

Shin-Nippon Industries in Malaysia seeks an Operations Assistant to support daily operational data collection and system updates. You will help record production and inventory transactions to ensure accuracy, traceability, and informed business decisions.

The role requires 1–2 years in data entry or operations support, proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word, and a strong eye for detail. Collaboration with Planning, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and IT is key.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1-2 years minimum experience in data entry, operations administration, inventory control, or system-related support roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry for production and inventory transactions in the system.
• Update production transactions, material movements, inventory transfers, and completion records in the system.
• Ensure all system transactions are completed accurately and within the required timeline.
• Monitor transaction status and follow up on incomplete or pending transactions.
• Collect production data from Daily Production Reports and other operational documents.
• Consolidate and verify operational data before system entry.
• Cross-check physical records against system records to identify discrepancies.
• Support inventory reconciliation and stock verification activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Liaise with Planning, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and IT teams regarding transaction issues and data discrepancies.
