Job summary

SHIN-NIPPON INDUSTRIES SDN BHD is seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily production and inventory activities. You will enter data, track transactions, and ensure records are accurate and timely to aid decision making.

Key tasks include updating system transactions, generating daily/weekly/monthly reports, and coordinating with Planning, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and IT teams. A relevant diploma or degree with 1–2 years' experience is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in data entry, operations administration, inventory control, or system-related support roles.
• Proficient in business systems and data management software.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting skills.
• Understanding of production, inventory, or operational processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry for production and inventory transactions in the system.
• Update production transactions, material movements, inventory transfers, and completion records in the system.
• Ensure all system transactions are completed accurately and within the required timeline.
• Monitor transaction status and follow up on incomplete or pending transactions.
• Collect production data from Daily Production Reports, Manufacturing Records, and other operational documents.
• Consolidate and verify operational data before system entry.
• Cross-check physical records against system records to identify discrepancies.
• Support inventory reconciliation and stock verification activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Liaise with Planning, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and IT teams regarding transaction issues and data discrepancies.
