Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an Application Engineer to support the sales and project teams by developing tailored data center solutions. The role focuses on product selection, technical proposals, and system integration across Data Center infrastructure components such as UPS systems, Busway, PDUs, Racks, Containment Systems and Cable Management.

The candidate will work closely with sales, provide detailed technical support, prepare BOQ and proposals, and tailor solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years in data center or electrical infrastructure design, preferably pre-sales.
Strong knowledge of UPS, Busway, PDU, cooling concepts, containment, and rack/cable management.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willing to travel and have own transport.

Responsibilities

Work with sales to understand client requirements and propose DC infrastructure solutions.
Provide technical support and product recommendations in pre-sales.
Prepare technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, BOQ, and proposals.
Customize UPS, PDU, Busway, racks, containment, and cable management solutions.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure integration.
Conduct customer presentations, product demos, and technical workshops.
