Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer to maintain and secure our IT infrastructure across end-user devices, servers, and network gear. The role requires hands-on expertise and a proactive approach to incident resolution and service improvement.

You will bridge Helpdesk, data center, and network operations, perform system administration tasks, manage patching, monitor performance, and contribute to project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, IT, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure operations.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience in LAN/network infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office apps, and IT security tools.
• Experience with patch management, backups, and virtualization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Perform routine system administration tasks, including Windows Server maintenance and patching.
• Manage network infrastructure and security controls across LAN/WAN environments.
• Execute daily backup operations and monitor job status for data integrity.
• Support daily IT operations and participate in IT projects and improvements.
