About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Support & Data Entry specialist to join our team in Alor Setar, Kedah on a full-time basis. This is a critical role that bridges customer service excellence with precise data management. You will be responsible for providing professional support to our customers whilst maintaining accurate and organised data systems. This position plays an essential part in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Responding to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner
• Resolving customer issues and concerns with patience, empathy, and a commitment to first-contact resolution
• Entering, updating, and maintaining customer data and records with meticulous attention to accuracy
• Processing customer transactions, orders, and requests whilst adhering to company procedures and data protection standards
• Managing customer databases and ensuring all information is current, organised, and easily accessible
• Following up with customers to ensure their concerns have been fully resolved and satisfaction has been achieved
• Identifying and escalating complex issues to senior team members or management when necessary
• Meeting performance targets including call handling times, customer satisfaction ratings, and data entry accuracy benchmarks
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of customer service processes and data management practices
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all data protection and security protocols

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in a customer service or call centre environment, or a related customer-facing role
• Demonstrated proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
• Strong typing speed and accuracy, with proficiency in using computer systems and relevant software applications
• The ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and find practical solutions

• Organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and databases
