Job summary

Ecolex Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Customer Service Executive to join our Supply Chain team. You will handle order processing, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure excellent service throughout the sales and after-sales process.

The role requires a degree, 2–3 years in customer service, exposure to manufacturing, basic shipping knowledge, and SAP proficiency. Strong English communication and proactive problem solving are essential as you support pricing and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Degree in related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service.
• Manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
• Basic shipping knowledge including incoterms is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP is an asset.
• Strong written and spoken English.

• Assist Head of Supply Chain/Assistant Customer Service Manager as interface for customer matters.
• Attend to customer inquiries and generate new leads.
• Maintain good relations with customers, team, and Commercial.
• Process orders, arrange and despatch shipments to meet delivery commitments.
• Provide accurate information on orders, shipping and commercial details.
• Address customer issues with operations and related departments to ensure satisfaction.
• Obtain order forecasts from customers and partners for planning.
• Support sales process, pricing, and product development alignment.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth order processing, effective coordination with internal departments, and delivering excellent service to our customers. The incumbent must take a proactive role to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales and after-sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports the Head of Supply Chain/Assistant Customer Service Manager as the interface within the sales office in all customer related matters.

Attend to customer inquiries and generate new customer leads.

Develop and maintain a good working relationship with customers, teammates & Commercial team.

Process customer orders, arrange and despatch shipments for customers and Channel Partners to meet delivery commitments.

Provide accurate and timely information to customers and Channel Partners relating to all aspects of order processing, shipping and commercial information.

Attend to customer related matters to ensure customer satisfaction and work closely with operations and related departments to resolve customer issues.

Obtain order forecasts from customers and Channel Partners for production planning purposes.

Supports the Market Manager/Business Director in the sales process, pricing and the implementation of product development strategy in line with business plans.

Provides administrative support for marketing and marketing communications activity for the territory.

Responsible for day-to-day administration and coordination activities of the sales and marketing division.

The incumbent must take a proactive role to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales and after-sales process.

Key Requirements:

Applicants must have a Degree in related fields.

At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in customer service related field is required for this position.

Applicants who are exposed to a manufacturing working environment have an added advantage.

Preferably with some basic shipping knowledge in terms of incoterm.

Familiar with SAP system is an added advantage.

Pleasant personality with customer service at heart and mind.

Good in both written & verbal in English.

Applicants with strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, result oriented and hardworking will have an added advantage.

Flexible and willing to work beyond normal working hours.

Able to work independently with less supervision and work as a team.

Applicants must be proactive, hardworking and able to work under deadlines.
