Job summary

Janna Edition Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd in Klang is seeking a detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Assistant to support export and import documentation, port clearance, and related workflow across declaration, loading, haulage, warehouse sections.

You will identify tariff codes, keep records up to date, assist with K1/K2/K8/ZB1/ZB2 declarations, and participate in training. Fresh graduates are welcome; salary includes basic pay, allowances and annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 1 year working experience related with forwarding.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office and similar programs.
• Able to speak and write English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in export and import documentation and submission of statutory requirements and port clearance.
• Monitor and follow up with declaration section, loading section, haulage section, general transport and warehouse section.
• Identify custom tariff codes and update the system on each job workflow.
• Submit jobs for closing once job is completed.
• Assist in declaration for all K1, K2, K8, ZB1, and ZB2
• Ensure data, records and filing are kept up to date.
• Perform any other job as assigned by Superior from time to time.

Identify custom tariff codes, update the system on each job workflow, and submit jobs for closing once completed. Assist in declaration for all K1, K2, K8, ZB1, and ZB2 forms. Ensure data, records and filing are kept up to date.

About you

Minimum Certificate or Diploma in related field

1 year working experience related with forwarding (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)

Computer literate in Microsoft Office and similar programs

Able to speak and write English is an advantage

Knowledge in use of declaration systems is valued: U-customs, Dagangnet (ALDEC similar to Mycargo2u), eDCFZ system, PKFZ Integrated Management System (PIMS), Phyto system, Miti COA (Dagangnet e-permit system), Maqis

Can work with 1 week notice or immediate start is an advantage
