Job summary

KC INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS SDN. BHD. is seeking a logistics coordinator to process, coordinate, and monitor sea import and export shipments from Klang.

You will collaborate with shipping lines, customers, customs agents, and transporters to arrange vessel bookings and manage schedules. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in freight forwarding, understands Incoterms and HS codes, and communicates clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, particularly in sea import/export operations.
• Knowledge of sea freight import/export processes is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Incoterms and HS Codes will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficient in English; additional languages will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle D/O release, manifest preparation, customs clearance, and delivery arrangements.
• Prepare and check shipping and relevant documentation accurately.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, requests, and shipment-related issues promptly.
• Follow up with relevant parties to ensure shipments are completed within the required timeline.
• Ensure all shipment processes comply with company procedures and relevant requirements.
