Job summary

FamilyMart Malaysia is looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to support daily store operations and customer service tasks. You will handle cash transactions, assist in stock replenishment, and promote products to shoppers.

Candidates with 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience are preferred. SPM or equivalent qualification required, and willingness to work shifts including weekends/public holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or relevant retail working experience.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in retail or customer service.
• Candidates without retail experience but with a positive working attitude are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and efficient retail operations with supervisor guidance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Introduce, promote, and upsell products to customers.
• Handle customer food orders and ensure compliance with food handling SOPs.
• Operate cash register for cash and credit card transactions.
• Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Responsible for stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
