Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Good knowledge of customs regulations and requirements
• Experience with customs declaration and clearance
• Familiar with Aldec & AEO systems
• Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Manage Import & Export customs clearance and declarations
• Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Air Freight and other CEVA departments
• Monitor customs forms, clearance status and related documentation
• Manage AEO, ZB declaration and E-Manifest (MyCIEDS)
• Prepare and submit customs reports to customers
• Ensure timely customs clearance and shipment delivery within committed timelines
• Lead and support 2 Operations Clerks

Role Description

The Custom Brokerage Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bayan Lepas. This position is responsible for overseeing customs brokerage processes, ensuring timely and accurate import and export clearance in compliance with local and international regulations. The role includes coordinating documentation, monitoring shipment status, and resolving customs issues in partnership with internal teams, carriers, and regulatory authorities. The Custom Brokerage Lead will guide and support team members, maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs requirements, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining records, and communicating proactively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operational execution.
