Job summary

CEVA Malaysia (Air & Ocean) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Customs Clearance Coordinator to manage air import/export activities, ensuring accurate declarations and timely reporting.

The role requires coordinating with Operations and Customer Service to maintain smooth customs processes. The ideal candidate will have a related certificate and at least 1 year of experience in customs declarations, with strong attention to regulatory compliance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• SPM/STPM/ Certificate in Transportation / Logistics/ Supply Chain or related disciplines.
• Minimum 1 Year of Experience in custom declaration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage customs clearance activities for air import and export shipments.
• Monitor and follow up on customs declaration and clearance status; provide updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all customs declarations and forms are accurately prepared and submitted per regulatory requirements.
• Generate customs reports for customers through Aldec and AEO systems.
• Process and submit ZB declarations/forms when required.
• Prepare and submit customs reports to customers within agreed timelines.
• Monitor, manage, and resolve outstanding customs forms within the required timeframe.
• Perform E-Manifest submissions through the MyCIEDS system.
• Conduct weekly reviews of outstanding forms and provide status updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and customer requirements.
• Support continuous process improvements to enhance customs clearance efficiency and service quality.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

Candidates must be willing to work at Batu Maung, Dis3plex Free Commercial Zone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and manage customs clearance activities for all air import and export shipments in collaboration with Operations and Customer Service teams.

Monitor and follow up on customs declaration and clearance status, providing timely updates to Customer Service and relevant stakeholders.

Ensure all customs declarations and forms are accurately prepared and submitted in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Generate customs reports for customers through the Aldec and AEO systems.

Process and submit ZB declarations/forms when required.

Prepare and submit customs reports to customers within agreed timelines and before due dates.

Monitor, manage, and resolve outstanding ("hanging") customs forms within the required timeframe.

Perform E-Manifest submissions through the MyCIEDS system.

Conduct weekly reviews of outstanding customs forms in the AEO and Aldec systems and provide status updates to the immediate superior.

Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and customer requirements.

Support continuous process improvements to enhance customs clearance efficiency and service quality.

Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.
