Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, based in IOI City, Putrajaya, seeks a seasoned Manager of Settlements to lead a high-performing team responsible for timely trade settlement within custody services. You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, drive process improvements, and ensure robust risk controls while delivering reliable daily BAU operations.

Ideal candidates bring 6–10 years in custody/middle-office settlements, strong leadership, and fluent English to engage with European stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.
• Experience as People Manager.
• Strong understanding of Custody Settlement processes and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Settlements team to ensure trades settle on time and in line with policies.
• Coordinate with FX, treasury, lending and middle office to resolve issues and improve STP rate.
• Drive continuous improvement and ownership of team deliverables.
• Manage performance, provide coaching, and conduct semi-annual reviews.
• Ensure Business Recovery Planning is tested regularly.
