• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations advantageous.

• Maintain and update cost allocation schedules and cost centre records.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing procedures.
• Process invoices, receipts and other financial documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support the finance team with general accounting tasks and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
• Ensure all costing and accounting activities comply with company procedures and relevant regulations.

About the role

We are seeking a Costing & Account Executive to join our finance team at EVERLASTING BASE SDN. BHD. This is a part-time position based in Melaka. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our cost accounting operations and financial records. You will be responsible for analysing costs, maintaining accurate accounts, and providing financial insights that support informed business decisions across the organisation. This position offers the flexibility of part-time work whilst allowing you to contribute meaningfully to our finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and track production costs, labour costs, and overhead expenses to support cost management objectives

What we're looking for

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (SPM, Diploma or Degree level)
• Demonstrated experience in cost accounting, management accounting or general accounting roles
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and analyse spreadsheets
• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, costing methods and financial analysis
• Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part‑time capacity
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the finance team
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations is advantageous
• Experience with inventory management or production cost tracking would be beneficial
