Job summary

Weng Meng Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Manufacturing Costing & Analysis professional to manage product costing, variance analysis, and cost control. You will collaborate with Procurement and Production to enhance cost efficiency and ensure data integrity for month-end closures.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing costing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment in Selangor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of working experience in manufacturing costing or cost accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update product costing, including material, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
• Analyze actual production costs versus standard costs and identify variances.
• Monitor raw material usage, wastage, and yield efficiency.
• Support pricing, quotation, and profitability analysis.
• Work closely with Procurement on supplier pricing and cost comparisons.
• Assist Production in identifying cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Prepare costing reports for management review.
• Support inventory valuation and month-end closing activities.
• Ensure costing data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Support pricing, quotation, and profitability analysis.
