Job summary

CAPE EMS BERHAD is seeking a Corporate Communications Executive to support planning and execution of internal and external communication initiatives. You will coordinate corporate messaging, digital content, branding activities, and media materials.

Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field, with 1-2 years of relevant experience, good communication skills, and familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools.

• 1 - 2 years of experience in media, content writing, marketing, or similar role.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist to create company literature and other forms of communication.

Job description

Join our team and support the planning and execution of internal and external communication initiatives within a fast-paced EMS manufacturing environment. You will coordinate corporate messaging, digital content, branding activities, media materials, and stakeholder communications to strengthen the Company's image and ensure clear, consistent, and professional communication across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist to create company literature and other forms of communication.
• Ensure brand consistency across communication channels by copyediting and revising communication materials.
• Support the development, organization, and maintenance of content on the company website and intranet.
• Ensure that website and intranet content is up-to-date, relevant, and accessible.
• Support the coordination and execution of media interviews, and company events such as townhalls.
• Assist in prepare writeups for company website.
• Capture images and videos of important company events to be uploaded to the website and inclusion in the Annual Report.
• Assist to design visually appealing assets, including advertisements, company brochures and materials for internal and external communications.
• Assist to outline, edit, and produce engaging multimedia content for internal and external communication purposes.
• Assist to liaise with external groups for magazine publicity or award nomination.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in the media, content writing, marketing, advertising, or a similar role.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent, self-motivated, and proactive.
• Demonstrates resourcefulness, teamwork, and high integrity.
• Familiarity with social media platforms.
• Proficiency in documentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools, such as Canva, etc.
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as DaVinci Resolve etc.
• Photography is an added advantage.
