Cape EMS Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Program Manager to oversee complex EMS/PCBA projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring on-time delivery and profitability.
The role requires a strong engineering/management background, ERP proficiency, and experience with EMS processes. On-site position based in Johor.
The Program Manager role involves providing effective project management resources that employ practical, proven project management methodology, tools and techniques to implement new projects on time and in a successful manner. You will act as the primary point of contact for key client accounts regarding program status, delivery, quality, and commercial matters.

Manage customer expectations and maintain strong customer relationships
Lead program review meetings and provide regular status updates to customers and management
Coordinate customer requirements, engineering changes, and production schedules
Coordinate cross-functional teams including NPI, engineering, procurement, quality, planning, and manufacturing
Manage project timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation plans
Monitor production performance including On-Time Delivery (OTD), yields, inventory levels, customer satisfaction and commitments
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction
Monitor program profitability, revenue, and cost performance
Ensure customer quality requirements are understood and implemented
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical/Electronics Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
Minimum 3 to 5 years in program/project management within an EMS, PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) or semiconductor environment and box build
Familiarity with EMS processes such as SMT (Surface Mount Technology), PCB assembly, plastic injection molding, and final box build packaging
High competence in ERP systems (e.g., SAP and Oracle) and advanced data tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Office)
Ability to manage program budgeting, cost tracking, quotations, and revenue forecasting
Understand inventory control, material readiness, shipping terms (Incoterms), and component sourcing
