Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing materials or service for the company
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing
• Expediting, coordinating and scheduling material purchase orders based on demand
• Monitor delivery commitment from supplier to ensure on-time delivery and continuity of supply
• Manage & control stock levels at appropriate levels
• Monitor the ECO roll in plan to minimize the potential exposure
• Resolves discrepancies and issues in invoices and purchase orders
• Work with supplier on material reject return and replacement upon the justification from Manufacturing and Quality Engineer justification and dimension detail report
• Conducts supplier performance review in monthly basis to assess their service
• Communication with CFT Team members

Job description

The Buyer is responsible for purchasing materials and services for the company, building supplier relationships, and managing the procurement process to ensure on-time delivery and continuity of supply based on customer-driven demand authorized by program/project management.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for purchasing materials or service for the company

Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing

Expediting, coordinating and scheduling material purchase orders based on demand

Monitor delivery commitment from supplier to ensure on-time delivery and continuity of supply

Manage & control stock levels at appropriate levels

About you
