Job summary

IDMS Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Service Engineer (Copier) to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair photocopiers, MFPs, and related office equipment at customer sites.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, provide technical guidance, and keep accurate service reports. The role offers performance-based incentives, travel, medical benefits, and opportunities for overseas trips in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least a professional certificate/diploma/degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or related field.
• Experience servicing copiers, printers, MFPs or office equipment is advantageous.
• Willing to travel to customer locations and have own transport.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Fluent Bahasa Malaysia/English communications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission Colour & Monochrome multifunction printers (Sharp & Fujifilm).
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing at customer site.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and technical systems.
• Attend customer service calls and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• Maintain accurate service reports and records.
• Manage assigned spare parts, tools, and service equipment.
• Keep up to date with new copier models, technologies, and service procedures.

Job Description:

Passionate about technical work and problem-solving skill? Join our growing team as a Service Engineer (Copier), responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing photocopiers, multifunction printers (MFPs), and related office equipment.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and commission Colour & Monochrome multifunction printers (Sharp & Fujifilm).

Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing at customer site.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical faults.

Attend customer service calls and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Provide technical support and guidance to customers.

Maintain accurate service reports and records.

Manage assigned spare parts, tools, and service equipment responsibly.

Keep up to date with new copier models, technologies, and service procedures.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer Science/IT or equivalent.

Experience servicing copier, printer, MFP, or office equipment will be an advantage.

Ability to demonstrate and technically oriented with good analytical skills.

Mature and able to work with minimum supervision. Able to handle customer's complaints.

Knowledge of color digital print products and knowledge of file handling software will be an added advantage.

Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

OJT training will be provided.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and manage field service assignments effectively.

Good communication and customer-service skills in both written & spoken Bahasa Malaysia/English.

Able to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.

Possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel to customer locations.

Must have own transport-CAR.

Malaysians Only - Male Only (required for photocopy machine maintenance that is not suitable for female).
