Job summary

IDMS Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Service Engineer (Copier) to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair photocopiers, MFPs, and related office equipment at customer sites.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, provide technical guidance, and keep accurate service reports. The role offers performance-based incentives, travel, medical benefits, and opportunities for overseas trips in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least a professional certificate/diploma/degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or related field.
• Experience servicing copiers, printers, MFPs or office equipment is advantageous.
• Willing to travel to customer locations and have own transport.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Fluent Bahasa Malaysia/English communications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission Colour & Monochrome multifunction printers (Sharp & Fujifilm).
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing at customer site.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and technical systems.
• Attend customer service calls and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• Maintain accurate service reports and records.
• Manage assigned spare parts, tools, and service equipment.
• Keep up to date with new copier models, technologies, and service procedures.
