Job summary

Wai Tatt Engineering Sdn Bhd invites a Junior Contracts Executive to join our contracts team on-site in Malaysia. You will assist with contract documents, tender preparation, cost estimation, and bills of quantities, while supporting timelines, variations, and claims.

Collaborating with project, procurement, and finance colleagues, you will help maintain organized records, update contract status reports, and escalate issues under senior guidance. A relevant diploma or degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of basic contract administration, including contract drafting, review, and documentation management.
• Ability to assist with tender preparation, cost estimates, and measurements, ideally with exposure to bills of quantities or contract schedules.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for evaluating quotations, variations, and progress claims.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with document management or project tracking tools.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project-based environment.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Interest in infrastructure projects and willingness to learn industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site and occasionally visit project locations as required.
