Job summary

• Good analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Managing all aspects of cost planning, estimation, and budgeting for ongoing site works.

Assist in preparing and analysing costs for tenders.

Evaluate contract terms in tenders and bids, identify potential risks, and support the preparation of proposals and pricing strategies.

Conduct interim valuations and submission of interim payment claims.

To assess subcontractor’s payment applications following the Sub-Contract requirement

Preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents, and cost breakdowns.

Handling site measurements, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.

Evaluating subcontractor quotations and managing subcontract payments.

Monitoring project cost and ensuring alignment with approved budgets.

Coordinating closely with site teams, consultants, and contractors.

Preparation and closure of the final accounts at the end of the Project.

Requirement

Minimum 5 years of working experience in Contracts/ Quantity Surveying, preferably in the construction/property development sector.

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

Strong knowledge of Bill of Quantity (BQ) preparation, costing, claims, and contract administration.

Able to work independently on-site with minimal supervision.

Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
