Job summary

Core Manpower Constructions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our construction team in Johor Bahru. This contract position involves overseeing and managing projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications and safety standards.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, at least 1 year of site experience, and proficiency in reading drawings and using site survey equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related construction discipline.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, specs and quality standards.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on-site.
• Ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality workmanship.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly site progress reports.
• Review drawings and resolve on-site issues.
• Ensure CIDB regulations, safety procedures and environmental requirements are followed.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical advice to stakeholders.
• Verify work completed for progress claims and maintain site records.
