Job summary

JM0478487-T is seeking a proactive Project / Site Engineer to oversee daily site operations, manage mechanical project execution, ensure safety, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors in Johor Bahru. You will read drawings, prepare BOQ and progress reports; liaise with suppliers for timely material delivery; ensure CIDB safety compliance; and support project meetings and variation orders.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management and 1–3 years' experience

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in construction, mechanical engineering, or industrial plant environments.
• Fresh graduates with strong site internship welcome.
• CIDB (Green Card) registration preferred.
• Able to read engineering drawings; basic CAD skills.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site progress with sub-contractors and direct workforce.
• Read and interpret drawings, prepare BOQ, material submission lists, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery to avoid delays.
• Enforce site safety; inspect quality; assist with CIDB requirements.
• Attend project meetings, handle clarifications, and manage variation orders.
