DPS Resources Berhad, Melaka-based developer and manufacturer, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare and review cost estimates, BQ, and tender documents. You will coordinate tender exercises, evaluate quotations, and prepare comparison reports while administering contracts and ensuring compliance with terms.

You will review progress claims, interim payments, final accounts, and evaluate VO/variation orders.

Competenze

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, contract administration or property development.
• Experience in tendering, cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, measurement methods and cost control procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS software; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Prepare and review project cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents
• Coordinate tender exercises, evaluate contractors' quotations and prepare tender comparison reports
• Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
• Review and verify contractors' progress claims, interim payments and final accounts
• Evaluate variation orders (VO), additional works and contractual claims
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal departments on contractual and cost matters
• Monitor project costs, prepare cost reports and assist in cost control throughout the development process
