Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in construction/civil.
• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, roads, drainage or underground services is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of tendering, costing, measurement, progress claims, variations and final accounts.
• Familiar with construction contracts and commercial administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and tender pricing.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers for quotes.
• Prepare and coordinate tender submissions with pricing and supporting docs.
• Review tender requirements, drawings, specifications and contract conditions for cost implications and risks.
• Prepare subcontractor packages and administer subcontract awards.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, site team, suppliers and subcontractors on procurement.
