is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage pre-contract and post-contract QS activities in Malaysia. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets, tender submissions and commercial proposals, and monitor costs to ensure projects stay within budgets. Responsibilities include reviewing documents, administering contracts, negotiating variations, preparing monthly cost reports, and providing commercial advice to project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, tender submissions, and commercial proposals.
• Review tender documents, specifications, drawings and contractual requirements.
• Evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Administer contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, variations, claims and final accounts.
• Prepare and review monthly cost reports and commercial performance reports.
• Negotiate variations, claims and contractual matters with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks.
• Ensure timely submission of progress claims and collection of payments.
• Lead dispute resolution and contractual negotiations when required.
• Provide commercial advice to management and project teams.
