Job summary

Teras Sari Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare and manage cost estimates, tender documentation, and cost control for infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will evaluate variation orders, assist in procurement, and support contract administration while ensuring timely reporting and compliance with drawings.

Requirements include a degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, 2 years' experience, and bilingual communication in Malay and English.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 2 years related experience, infrastructure familiarity.
Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
Reliable, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
Computer literacy and ability to read construction drawings.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit budget estimates from tender drawings and BOQ.
Assist in tender BQ, quotations, contracts and sub-contracts.
Prepare and analyse project costings including materials, labour and time.
Take quantity off and evaluate variation orders for sub-contractors and clients.
Advise on materials procurement and cost control on site.
Conduct cost analysis for rental, repair, and maintenance projects.
Attend site valuation, measurement, and meetings as needed.
Review contract drawings and documents, flag deviations from tender.
Monitor on-site quantities and verify against drawings.
