Conlay Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Contract Executive with 5–8 years of experience in pre and post contract administration for high-rise building projects. You will handle cost planning, estimates, tenders, and progress claims, while ensuring timely payments to subcontractors and accurate cost control.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication/negotiation skills are essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying is required, with additional advantages for related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 5–8 years working experience in handling pre and post contract administration.
• Working experience in high-rise building projects will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and measurement of quantities.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical skill.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cost planning, feasibility studies and estimating.
• Handle tenders including compilation of tender and contract documents.
• Call quotations, compilation, negotiation and finalization to facilitate management decision.
• Carry out proposals and cost saving exercises.
• Prepare progress claims including submission, site valuation and all follow up to certification and advice status of billings against costs.
• Prepare subcontractor’s payments and monitor cash flow.
• Monitor and compile all A.Is and prompt submission of Variation Orders.
• Prepare extension of time applications and relevant claim of loss and expenses.
• Settlement of Final Account.
• Prepare project budget and cost control exercises.
• Overall coordination and timely implementation of project.

Job description

Carry out cost planning, feasibility studies and estimating.

Handle tenders including compilation of tender and contract documents.

Calling quotations, compilation, negotiation and finalization to facilitate management decision.

Carry out proposals and cost saving exercises.

Prepare progress claims including submission, site valuation and all follow up to certification and advice status of billings against costs.

Prepare subcontractor’s payments.

Monitoring and compilation of all A.I.s and prompt submission of Variation Orders.

Preparation of extension of time application and relevant claim of loss and expenses.

Settlement of Final Account.

Cash flow forecast / projection.

Attending all relevant meetings.

Handling all relevant project correspondence.

Prepare materials and subcontractors procurement schedule.

Overall coordination and timely implementation of project.

Compilation of subcontracts to facilitate award and preparation of subcontract LA.

Prepare project budget, list of basic materials including all monitoring and cost control exercises.

REQUIREMENTS
