Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Content Risk Evaluation Team Lead in Malaysia to guide a team of specialists responsible for translating regulations into actionable guidelines and surfacing content risks across user-generated and producer-generated content.

You will coordinate rapid responses to threats, collaborate with AI/ML teams to close the judgment-data-model loop, and produce data-driven risk reports that shape platform safety rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in law, journalism, or related fields; ownership in uncertain environments.
• At least 2 years of team management experience in risk or safety.
• Background in content safety, policy development, or risk management.
• Ability to translate insights into systematic strategic frameworks.
• Strong English and Mandarin communications for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Risk Team to identify and mitigate content risk.
• Translate policies into guidelines and oversee a case database for consistency.
• Monitor content risks across UGC/PGC and extract risk characteristics.
• Lead rapid responses to content safety emergencies and optimize processes.
• Produce data-driven risk assessment reports for platform rule optimization.
• Collaborate with operations and product teams to implement prevention strategies.
• Partner with algorithm/data science teams to align judgments with models.
